Dear Parents, Players, and Coaching Staff,
As we wrap up another incredible season, we would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who helped make this year such a success. To our players, parents, coaches, and volunteers, your dedication, patience, and commitment throughout the season are truly appreciated.
A special thank you goes out to all of our coaching staff. Your time, energy, and support are invaluable. Without your willingness to help on and off the ice, we simply would not have teams competing each week. Your contribution makes a tremendous difference for our athletes and our association.
Congratulations to all four of our teams for making it to Championship Sunday. This is a tremendous accomplishment and a testament to the hard work put in all season long.
A special congratulations to our Intermediate C team for capturing the gold medal, and to our Intermediate A team for earning the silver medal. Well done! We would also like to congratulate our Open and Junior teams for their strong performances in their bronze medal games. You represented the Hamilton Sledgehammers with pride.
We are extremely proud of all of our players for demonstrating outstanding sportsmanship and fair play throughout the season, while continuing to compete with the determination and heart that define the Sledgehammers way.
Best of luck to the players who will be representing our association at the Ottawa tournament in a few weeks.
Finally, please mark your calendars. Our AGM and year-end banquet will take place in May, with a tentative date of May 22nd. This date will be confirmed in a future email with more details to follow.
