A Message From The HDSHA Executive
Dear friends and families,
The ongoing pandemic has made it difficult to get back on the ice where we can all play. The past two seasons were cut short for the safety of everyone and we are coming to the close of our season with much hope for a proper 2021-22 season.
Given that our 2020-21 season was cut so short, the season cost per player has been reduced from $300 to $75. You have a choice to apply your credit of $225 to the 2021-22 season or to receive your credit as a refund. Please advise HDSHA Treasurer Marcel Kampen ([email protected]) with the option you would prefer. If we do not hear from you, the credit will be automatically applied to the 2021-22 season.
There were some players from whom we have not received payment; please remember that the use of the ice and insurance fees ($75) from this year should be paid when possible, or they can be applied to the next season’s fees.
As we begin the closing of this season, please be reminded of the upcoming Annual General Meeting (AGM) which is open to all of our members to participate. The current Provincial and Local Health Advisories’ restrictions dictate that we must carry out the meeting virtually over one of the common virtual meeting platforms available. Our AGM must be carried out in the month of May, formal notice of the meeting and access will be sent out to all members through our website and via email and the meeting agenda will be posted as well. Elections for members of the executive committee take place during the meeting for the positions that become open for another 2-year term.
On behalf of the HDSHA executive committee, I would like to thank all of you for your continued patience and I hope that everyone can keep well and safe so that we can all get back to where we truly love to be – back on the ice!
Cheers!
‘Timmy’
