The Hamilton District Sledge Hockey Association is a non-profit organization committed to advancing accessible para ice hockey opportunities within our community.
To provide accessible para ice hockey programs for children, youth, and adults with disabilities who face barriers to participating in conventional ice hockey and other mainstream sport and recreation opportunities.
Through adapted sport, coaching, recreation, competition, teamwork, and community involvement, we support participants in building physical ability, confidence, independence, self-esteem, social connection, sportsmanship, and a lifelong sense of belonging.
A safe, inclusive, and supportive environment where persons with disabilities can participate, develop, compete, socialize, and be recognized as valued members of the community.
